Volunteer Opportunities

We are looking for volunteers from all walks of life; people who can plan, develop, provide direct service(s), teach, do office duties, or answer phones. We are also looking for individuals willing to take on the challenge of special projects such as; serving on committees, grant writing and fund raising.

 DONATIONS WISH LIST:

 The Fulton County Chapter is looking for a donation of a new or used (in good condition) lockable file cabinet.  – 2 or 4 drawer.

We also need a small storage unit that is climate controlled for storing disaster relief supplies. We must have 24 hour access.

Donate In-Kind Products

The Red Cross is unable to accept small, individual donations or collections of items such as clothing, food or cleaning supplies. The cost to sort, package and distribute these types of donations to disaster victims is greater than the cost of purchasing the items locally, and it is logistically impossible to distribute a wide variety of individual items in a meaningful way. Because of these costs and logistical concerns, we recommend that you support your community by donating these items to an organization that is equipped to put them to the best possible local use.
Offers of sizable, bulk donations are reviewed to determine if they meet a current need for disaster victims that can be addressed by the Red Cross. Bulk donations are typically new, shrink-wrapped and palletized items, and they are transported by the donor.
